BOW WOW DRAGGED FOR BEING ON A BOAT WITH SEVERAL LADIES DURING COVID PANDEMIC: Bow Wow was dragged on social media yesterday (January 7th) after posting a video being on a small boat with about 20 women. He captioned the video, “How can i not smile everyday!” Of course social media had a lot to say. One person tweeted, “One thing I can say about Bow Wow is that he's always the comic relief during a very chaotic time. Look at him go. lol.” Another person wrote, “Bow wow was packed in on that lil covid canoe and he’s probably gonna be back making Tik toks with his daughter in 72 hours lmao. Madness.”
LIL WAYNE AND KODAK BLACK BEING CONSIDERED FOR TRUMP PARDONS: According to Bloomberg, rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black are on Trump's short list of people he is hoping to pardon in the last days of his presidency. Wayne is currently facing up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to illegally possessing a firearm while traveling on a private plane in December 2019, but he is likely to receive a reduced sentence in exchange for the guilty plea. He is scheduled to be sentenced on March 4th. Kodak is currently serving time in a federal prison for falsifying paperwork to obtain a firearm. In November, he publicly pleaded with Trump to free him. In return, he promised to donate $1 million to charity. Lil Yachty, Yo Gotti, and Lil Pump have also lobbied Trump to pardon Kodak.
BUN B REVEALS VERZUZ BATTLE BETWEEN UGK AND 8 BALL AND MJG: Bun B has revealed that there will be a UGK VERZUZ with 8Ball & MJG. He told the Donnie Houston podcast, “It’s kind of pushed back, everything’s kinda pushed back because of the Ashanti and Keyshia Cole and they’re still trying to find the right times to do a lot this stuff but I would imagine before the summer. We’ve been talking about it since last year, since VERZUZ started last year. Cause me and Ball just talked about doing it period, and I was like, ‘Let me run it by Swizz and Tim and see if it was something they’d be open to.’ They said yes.” He continued, “UGK Ball & G VERZUZ is actually gon’ be fun cause we’ve known each other for years, we get along real well. It’s gon’ be interesting to get in there and play the music for the people.”
SNOOP DOGG WAS MAD AT EMINEM FOR TURNING DOWN AN ALBUM FEATURE: During a recent Clubhouse chat with Royce Da 5’9″, N.O.R.E., and Joe Budden, Daz Dillinger revealed that Snoop and Eminem's issues started when Snoop agreed to appear on “B*tch Please II” for Eminem’s 2000 album The Marshall Mathers LP. But when Snoop asked him to appear on his album, Em didn’t return the favor. Daz said, “He took it personally. And from then on, that’s why you never heard a song from Snoop or Em since then.”
