Senator Rand Paul is calling for a federal disaster declaration for Kentucky. Senator Paul’s office says he has asked President Trump to add the Commonwealth to the list of states granted the designation this week. Paul wrote to the President, asking him to provide federal funding and send 100-thousand test kits and five-thousand test swabs to Kentucky. Paul himself is recovering after testing positive for COVID-19.
