Burns Middle School will host a ceremony at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, to unveil their Free Little Library bench near the front entrance of the school, located at 4610 Goetz Drive.
The reading bench and book storage area will allow 24-hour access to reading materials. Students, families and members of the public will be welcome to stop by to take books, or may drop off reading materials for others to enjoy.
The project was sponsored by the Kentucky Education Association Student Program at Kentucky Wesleyan College, with materials donated by Lowe’s and Sherwin-Williams. Representatives from those community partners will be in attendance at this ceremony.
