Tickets are now on sale to hear a survivor of assault speak in Owensboro. Elizabeth Smart was 14 when she was kidnapped from her Utah home in 2002. Authorities found her nine months later. Tickets to hear her talk about surviving sexual assault at the Owensboro Convention Center August 31st are 70-dollars each and can be purchased here. Proceeds benefit New Beginnings Sexual Assault Services of Owensboro.
