Kentucky State Police troopers from Post 16 in Henderson have apprehended a Daviess County man, David A. Rodgers, age 40, following serious allegations involving a juvenile. The arrest took place at around 7:35 p.m. on Monday. Investigators determined Rodgers engaged in a sexual relationship with a minor, exploiting a position of trust. He faces multiple charges, including third-degree rape, second-degree sodomy involving authority, first-degree sexual abuse, promoting use of a minor by electronic means, and possession of material depicting a minor under 12 in a sexual performance. Rodgers is currently housed at the Daviess County Detention Center as the investigation continues.
