An Owensboro nurse is happy after appearing on NBC’s Ellen’s Game of Games hosted by talk show host Ellen Degeneres. Jodi Scott says she was shocked to hear from producers after applying on a whim at the end of a tough work day. The Ellen super fan then had to go through three months of intensive interviews where she demonstrated her skill for variety. She flew to Hollywood, came to set and played a game called “Oh Ship!,” where she had to answer questions while running across a slippery surface. She said people will have to watch the show to see if she wins when it airs tonight at 7:00 p.m. Scott has been a nurse at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital NICU for the last seven years.
