DAVIESS CO., KY (WFIE) – The Daviess county Democrat elected to the state House by one vote, says a Republican’s challenge of the results should be dismissed.
Jim Glenn beat Republican state representative, DJ Johnson, in the State District 14 Race.
Johnson asked for a recount, saying six voters were ineligible because they didn’t sign the voter roster, and that local officials incorrectly rejected 17 absentee ballots.
Glenn’s attorney’s filed documents saying the 17 ballots were correctly rejected and argue it’s impossible to invalidate three of the other six votes because their identities are unknown.
