A new report says one in five people in Indiana have doubts about their next meal. The Food Research and Action Center released a report last week that says Indiana is the 20th worst state for food hardship. About 16 percent of all people in the state, and nearly 20 percent of families with children, are food insecure. The Center’s Jim Weill says the report makes the case for increased spending in the next Farm Bill on food aid and public benefit programs.
