Chances are there won’t be 61 new State Troopers when this class of cadets in done. The Kentucky State Police yesterday announced that its latest class has begun training. Commanders say 61 hopefuls will spend the next 25 weeks seeing if they have what it takes to join the State Police. KSP Commissioner Rick Sanders says, traditionally, about 35 percent of cadets don’t finish the training.
