Kentucky’s Democratic Secretary of State says Republicans in the state need to learn how to take a joke. Alison Lundergan Grimes yesterday said Republicans need to grow thicker skin after some Republicans complained that her joke at the weekend picnic at Fancy Farm was in poor taste. Lundergan Grimes joked that many people don’t think Kentucky U.S. Senator Rand Paul can be beat, but she said his neighbor proved that idea wrong.
