The state of Kentucky is ready to spend more on Kentucky Wired. The legislature on Saturday agreed to continue supporting the program that is supposed to wire the state for high speed internet. But Kentucky Wired managers are behind schedule, and millions of dollars in debt. The plan from lawmakers will allow the state to borrow up to 110 million-dollars to help Kentucky Wired. There’s also as much as 60 million-dollars included for the project in the new state budget.
