Kentucky State Police are investigating a shooting that took place Saturday evening on Beech Creek Road in Muhlenberg County. Authorities say multiple calls were received about a man allegedly making threats with a firearm. The suspect, identified as 62-year-old Harvey Lear of Nortonville, reportedly shot a man from Todd County, who was then taken to a local hospital for treatment. Lear faces several charges, including Assault, Wanton Endangerment, Terroristic Threatening, Fleeing or Evading Police, Resisting Arrest, Tampering with Evidence, and making a False Report.
