James Carr, wanted in connection with a deadly Knottsville shooting, is now in custody after surrendering to Florence Police overnight. Carr faces charges including Murder, Assault 2nd Degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence following Saturday’s incident that left 19-year-old Brody Lanham dead and a juvenile injured. The juvenile has since been released from the hospital. Detectives from Daviess County traveled to Boone County for interviews and to transport Carr back for lodging at the local detention center. Investigators continue working in multiple counties, attending Lanham’s autopsy and following up on leads, as the case moves toward prosecution.
