An Owensboro Police Department dispatcher faces charges after allegedly arriving at work intoxicated. Authorities say Brandy Gray drew attention from her coworkers, who noted the smell of alcohol, slurred speech, and unsteady movements. Gray admitted to driving herself to work but denied drinking after her arrival. When asked to perform a field sobriety test, she refused. Officers subsequently arrested Gray and had her transported to a hospital for a court-ordered blood draw. She is now charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle while Under the Influence of Alcohol. The police department has not yet commented on her current employment status.
