DEVELOPING: 40-Year-Old Male Found Dead of Suicide

From the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department:

“On Thursday, February 19th, at approximately 9:54 am, DCSO was dispatched to a possible shooting in the 7700 block of Todd Bottums Road near Utica. The initial report stated that a 40-year-old male had shot himself. Upon arrival, deputies and firefighters discovered a deceased male in the yard of the home. The Daviess County Coroner’s Office is on scene assisting DCSO detectives in investigating the circumstances that led to the death. The Daviess County Fire Department, Masonville Fire Department, and AMR responded to the scene. This is an ongoing investigation”
