A fatal incident is under investigation in Christian County after a pedestrian was struck by a marked police cruiser on Madisonville Road in Hopkinsville. According to authorities, around 7:15 Wednesday evening, a Christian County Deputy responding to a call collided with a pedestrian identified as 40-year-old Brandon Higgins. The collision occurred near the 4500 block of US-41, resulting in Higgins being pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner. Kentucky State Police Detective Jacob Stephens is leading the ongoing investigation. Officials have not released additional details as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
