Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred October 13 near the 8 mile-marker on US-62 in Greenville, Muhlenberg County. Authorities report that 19-year-old Nicholas Brown of Central City lost control of his sedan, causing it to leave the roadway and overturn several times. Brown was ejected from the vehicle and transported by air to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. After fighting for his life for a week, he passed away from his injuries on October 20. The investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing by Kentucky State Police Post 2.
