(Owensboro, KY): The roar of engines and cheering fans filled the west Daviess County air on Friday and Saturday night.
The weekend kicked off Friday Night with a night of no-prep action including Test-and-Tune, along with grudge races and the weekly trophy race.
In the trophy race, it was Jaxson ‘Boss’ Boling taking home the win in his dad’s 2005 GMC Sierra pickup over a competitive field of cars.
On Saturday, it was WDRA Summit Sportsman Bracket Racing with five classes taking to the track for an evening of racing highlighted by $1K to Win for the Pro Division.
The Pro final saw two Henderson-drivers battle for the $1,000. In the end it was the wily veteran, Bill Caton taking the win in his Chevy wagon over Thomas Zimmerman in his Pontiac Firebird.
