Expect road changes in Owensboro as RWRA prepares to close East 18th Street, from Moseley Street to Sweeney Street, starting Monday, August 4. The closure is necessary for sewer repairs and is expected to last four to five days, weather permitting. A signed detour will be available for regular traffic, and a dedicated truck detour has been established. Eastbound trucks should follow JR Miller Boulevard to East Parrish Avenue and then Triplett Street. Westbound trucks will reroute via Triplett Street, East 25th Street, and JR Miller Boulevard. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes during the closure.
