Empty Bowls of Owensboro is now accepting applications from Daviess County organizations working to fight hunger. Groups focusing on sustainable solutions, education, and community engagement are invited to apply for a chance to receive proceeds from the organization’s annual fundraiser dinner and silent auction. This year’s event, marking the 20th anniversary of Empty Bowls in Owensboro, will be held on Thursday, November 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the RiverPark Center lobby. Interested organizations can submit their applications online through August 31 by visiting www.eboky.org/application. Selected recipients will benefit directly from event proceeds.
