(Nashville, TN) Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway delivered a full night of intense racing and dramatic moments on Saturday as eight divisions thrilled a packed crowd with door-to-door action, comeback drives, and wild finishes. From Landon Thrasher’s dominant Bandolero win to Dylan Fetcho’s breathtaking three-wide, last-lap Pro Late Model victory, the evening featured a perfect blend of clean racing and edge-of-your-seat excitement. The Modifieds of Mayhem NashVegas 50 saw Cody Stickler continue his reign with a fourth straight Nashville win, while multiple local favorites found their way to victory lane in front of an energized Middle Tennessee audience.
The CP Race Wear Bandolero feature kicked off the night at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway with Jordan Bauer and Lucas Harrison each leading a lap during a caution-filled start. Defending class champion Landon Thrasher quickly worked his way to the front, taking the lead on lap three and dominating the remainder of the 15-lap event. The Murfreesboro, TN driver cruised to a convincing victory, with Phillip Pinion III finishing second, Lucas Harrison third, Jordan Bauer fourth, and Isaac Brown rounding out the top five.
In the Pest Doctor Front Runner feature at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, Randell Waterston of Nolensville, TN started on the pole and dominated the 15-lap event, leading every circuit en route to a flag-to-flag victory. While Waterston controlled the race out front, the action behind him was intense, with Ray Gann ultimately securing the runner-up position. Matt Hamlett finished third, and Tony Gann crossed the line in fourth.
The US Air Force Legends Masters/Pro feature at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway saw Dylan Fetcho lead the opening three laps of the caution-free event before Franklin, TN’s Michael Crafton powered to the front on lap four. Crafton, a division frontrunner, set a strong pace and maintained control for the remaining distance to secure the victory. Oliver Cordell finished second, followed by Boston Oliver in third, Kevin Rollins in fourth, and early leader Dylan Fetcho rounding out the top five.
The 20-lap Street Stock feature at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway delivered intense action from start to finish. Joshua Pierce led the early laps before Michael Neidert made a move to the front but contact between the two resulted in Neidert spinning out of contention. Michael Pannell, piloting the #00 machine, inherited the lead and found himself locked in a competitive and clean battle with Matt Fuqua over the final laps, with the two exchanging the top spot multiple times. On the final turn, Matt Barnes made a bold bid from third to steal the win but came up just short as Pannell held on for the victory. Fuqua finished second, followed by Barnes, Kevin Henderson, and Dillon Oliver.
The Pure Stock feature presented by Nashville Equipment wrapped up the second half of the Nashville Equipment Doubleheader Bonus in exciting fashion. Phillip McCord, fresh off a win two weeks ago, took control early and never looked back, leading flag-to-flag to claim his second straight victory at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. The Murfreesboro, TN driver earned the $1,000 top prize as part of the bonus program, while action behind him was intense with Jeffery Belt, Chase Cohron, John Bradley, and others battling throughout the 20-lap event. At the finish, it was Belt finishing second, followed by Cohron, Dylan Jones, and Matt Barnes. Belt claimed the $350 bonus for second-best average finish across the doubleheader, while Jones earned $150 for third.
The US Air Force Legends Semi-Pro/Young Lions feature provided one of the most entertaining races of the night at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, with multiple lead changes and a thrilling photo finish. Aidan Potter led the opening lap before Dylan Faulkner took over on lap two. Galen Clark then surged to the front on lap seven and appeared to be in control, leading through lap 18. However, Max Olmstead II made a late-race charge, slipping past Clark with Faulkner in tow. In the final corners, Faulkner made a strong move, nudging Olmstead up the track, but the Greenwood, IN driver held on by inches at the line to capture the victory. Faulkner settled for second, followed by Clark, Bradley Swift, and Garrett Dies.
The Paschall Heating & Air Limited Late Model feature at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway got off to a rough start when a checkup at the front of the field on the initial green collected Buddy Moody and Bennie Hamlett, ending both drivers’ nights. On the complete restart, Peyton Hamlett of Mt. Juliet, TN quickly took control in his #98 machine, building a lead of over four seconds before a lap nine caution bunched the field. The restart brought division standout Johnathan Dishman to Hamlett’s outside, but Hamlett proved too strong, pulling away to earn his first win of the season. Dishman finished second, followed by Carl Porter, Jr., Dwayne Hudson, and Howard Tucker.
The Modifieds of Mayhem NashVegas 50 saw a strong 18-car field take the green with Ryan Price and Chuck Barnes, Jr. leading the way. Barnes, a former All American 400 winner, jumped to the early lead, but it didn’t take long for three-time defending Nashville winner Cody Stickler to begin closing the gap. After setting fast time in qualifying, Stickler made his move on lap 10, taking over the top spot and never looking back. Despite a couple of cautions, the Pinellas Park, FL driver was flawless on each restart, pulling away under every green flag run. Barnes held onto second until the closing laps before fading slightly with a tire rub. At the finish, it was Stickler taking his fourth consecutive Modifieds of Mayhem win at Nashville, followed by Ryan Price, Jeremy Williams, Chuck Barnes, Jr., and Tre Huff.
The Pro Late Model 100-lap feature capped off an action-packed evening at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway with a dramatic finish that left fans on their feet. Point leader Hunter Wright of Lebanon, TN, benefited from a fortunate redraw, starting on the pole and controlling the opening stages of the race. Wright built a comfortable lead early, with Corey Deuser and Chase Johnson running second and third. A caution on lap 42 for a crash involving Mark Day and Presley Johnson brought the field back together, but Wright held strong on the restart and continued to lead deep into the race.
Chase Johnson, Wright’s closest challenger in the championship standings, moved into second just before halfway and began reeling in the leader during a long green-flag run. As the laps wound down, Wright maintained his advantage and appeared poised for his second win of the season. However, a caution with five laps to go changed everything, leading to multiple late restarts and a shakeup at the front.
Three-time Nashville Pro Late Model champion Dylan Fetcho, who had earlier made a pit stop and restarted at the tail, stormed through the field in the closing laps. Coming off turn four to the checkered flag, Fetcho made a daring three-wide move to the inside, edging past Wright and Johnson in a thrilling photo finish. Wright and Johnson made contact across the line, finishing second and third. The win marked Fetcho’s first at Nashville since April 2024, with Michael Bolden and Jim Wall rounding out the top five.
