The highly anticipated Bluegrass Legends Experience returns to Owensboro this August 15–17, bringing with it an impressive display of classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, rat rods, and, for the first time, National Pro Street cars from across the United States. The event will take place at the Owensboro Sports Center and Moreland Park, offering three full days of automotive showcases, live entertainment, vendors, food trucks community fundraising, and family-friendly fun all with free general admission.
The Bluegrass Legends Experience is a Bluegrass Biker News Motorsports/Music/Events production. Owner Janie Rhoades says months of preparation have gone into the expansion of the show’s true mission: Raising funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the motorsport’s community.
“We’re bringing in high-performance Pro Street cars from as far as Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Iowa, and all over the Midwest. This is the biggest lineup we’ve ever had”, said Jimmy Allyn, Event Organizer.
Car show entry for vehicle exhibitors is $25 (Saturday and Sunday). Last year’s event attracted over 800 vehicles and 10,000 spectators, featuring memorable tributes such as the Evel Knievel Tribute Tour and Smokey and the Bandit. With this year’s inclusion of National Pro Street cars, organizers anticipate record-breaking turnout.
