Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in McLean County. Authorities report that 59-year-old Brad Jones of Marion was driving eastbound on KY 56 near Beech Grove on Tuesday when his 2016 Kenworth tractor-trailer veered off the right shoulder. After losing control, the truck crossed both lanes before overturning on the driver’s side, blocking the roadway. Emergency responders transported Jones to Baptist Health in Madisonville, where he was pronounced dead. Kentucky 56 remained closed for four hours while authorities conducted their investigation. The incident remains under review by Kentucky State Police as they determine the cause of the collision.
