NASHVILLE, TN — The summer heats up in Music City as Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway roars back to life on Saturday, July 12, with a stacked night of racing featuring the Modifieds of Mayhem and a 100-lap showdown for the Nashville Pro Late Models. The event also marks the return of several quarter-mile divisions to points competition following early-season rainouts, making this a must-see night for short track fans across the region.
The headlining Modifieds of Mayhem will take on the tricky 5/8-mile for a thrilling 50-lap feature, while the Pro Late Models return for their longest feature of the season thus far — 100 laps of intense side-by-side racing.
In addition to the top-tier action on the big track, fans will be treated to a full card of quarter-mile competition featuring the CP Race Wear Bandoleros, Pest Doctor Front Runners, US Air Force Legends (Pro/Masters and Semi-Pro/Young Lions), Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Paschall Heating & Air Limited Late Models.
The second event in the Nashville Equipment Pure Stock bonus will be Saturday, determining the winner of the bonus money. The top three average finishes between the June 27 and July 12 events in the Pure Stock class will be awarded $1,000, $350, and $150 respectively. Currently, Phillip McCord, John Bradley, and Jeffery Belt have the best chances, as they finished top three in the first round.
