(Owensboro, KY): After a wet start to the scheduled season, Windy Hollow Speedway kicked off their season on Sunday, May 18th with an action-packed night of racing.
Fans and drivers were welcomed with newly painted front stretch walls, a newly installed front stretch catch fence, a new clay surface, and the most notable, a new wall spanning the middle of the backstretch through turns 3 and 4.
Drivers praised the renovations in victory lane, saying the track drove differently than before, but were pleasantly surprised by the “new” Windy Hollow.

“We appreciate everyone coming out to our season opening race. We had a few beginning of the season bugs to work out, but all and all it was a good night and a good start to the season for 2025,” said track promoter, Trevor Hutchins.
Windy Hollow Speedway returns for a Memorial Day “Triple Header” weekend that will include an open practice on Friday, and racing on Saturday and Sunday as the track crowns “King Of The Holler.”
