Get ready for a high-octane weekend in Owensboro as motorsports take over the city June 6–8! Visit Owensboro is announcing a power-packed lineup coordinated by Bluegrass Biker News Motorsports/Music/Events starting with the third annual River City Bike Expo at the Owensboro Convention Center. The action continues with the inaugural Bluegrass Three-Wheel Klassic, bringing in hundreds of Polaris Slingshots and motorcycles.
Also, RPM Promotions’ elite flat track racing at Windy Hollow Speedway—featuring the third annual Nicky Hayden and Earl Hayden Memorial. The action-packed weekend also includes the Nicky Hayden Memorial Ride, bringing the community together to honor a local legend and celebrate a shared love of motorsports.
First event: Third Annual River City Bike Expo June 6–8 grab your $20 event pass promising a full weekend of bikes, music, food, and fun at the Owensboro Convention Center.
- Friday, June 6: Roll into town, check in to your hotel, and kick off the weekend with Friday After 5 – enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, and more!
- Saturday, June 7: The heart of the action with a full-on Bike Show, Sound Show competition and vendors
- That evening, hop on the trolley for pub crawl, making stops at some of the best bars in downtown Owensboro.
- Industry giant “John Swope” Owner and CEO of John Swope Designs” & founder of “Dirty Bird Designs” from Phoenix Arizona will be in Owensboro for this show as well as Curtis Hofmann of Hofmann designs out of Minneapolis St. Paul Minnesota, here’s your chance to meet and talk to these industry giants, More of the biggest names/brands in the motorcycle world such as: Curley’s, Showkiller, Klockworks, Evil Iron, ThunderMax, Garza Law & More will all be inside the Owensboro convention center.
- There are over 50 manufacturing vendor displays already committed to attend this year, representing over 20 states. Out front of the convention center there will be performance companies doing on-site installation.

The second event: The Owensboro Sportscenter will bring in The Bluegrass 3-Wheel Classic that will feature hundreds of Polaris Slingshots as well as other trike motorcycles with a Show and Shine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Wrap, Best Theme and Best in Show and a sound competition. The third event: Saturday RPM Promotions Elite Championship Flat Track racing being the 3rd annual Nicky Hayden and Earl Hayden Memorial with a $5000 Amateur Purse scheduled at Windy Hollow Speedway. The fourth event: Sunday 6.8.25 The Nicky Hayden Memorial Ride Food Trucks, live Music 1:00PM Gather at the Nicky Hayden Statue in front of the Owensboro Convention Center, for opening ceremonies with the Hayden Family.
The Nicky Hayden ride is an annual event that celebrates the life of world champion racer, Nicky Hayden. The ride begins in downtown Owensboro and tours through the county with a stop at the final resting place of Nicky Hayden. Fans also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Hayden family merchandise with proceeds benefiting the Nicky Hayden Foundation which supports non-profits in the Owensboro area.
