Governor Andy Beshear is vetoing a bill that would overturn his executive order banning conversion therapy. The bill also disallows use of Medicaid funds to cover gender-affirming care for transsexuals. Beshear announced the veto on Saturday and released a video on social media stating, “Conversion therapy is torture” and went on to say, “I’m going to keep fighting for what’s right-and that is loving thy neighbor.”
