A bill that would allow a 15-year-old to obtain a driver’s license is headed to the Senate for a vote. WKYT reports the new law would require teen drivers to complete 60-hours of driving, including 10-hours of nighttime driving to obtain a license. The teen must be accompanied by a licensed driver at least 21-years-old. The bill is expected to be up for a vote by the Senate this week and will immediately become law if passed.
