Two men are facing charges after a traffic stop over the weekend in Owensboro led to the discovery of drugs, over 8-thousand dollars in cash, and a weapon. Police say Noah Boehman and Jesse Gonzalez, both 21, fled on foot near W. 5th and Locust Streets but were apprehended nearby. Officers recovered suspected fentanyl, meth, marijuana, oxycodone pills, 8-thousand-100 dollars in cash, and a loaded 9mm handgun during searches.
