In Owensboro, Daviess County Sheriff’s Office has successfully apprehended two fugitives from Louisville, following a tip-off about their location. Detectives located Steven Brown and Darrell Jewell at the Motel 6 on Frederica Street, where they were observed heading to a nearby gas station before being taken into custody. Jewell faced multiple charges including attempted murder, while Brown was evading a 5-year sentence for meth trafficking and identity theft. Upon arrest, both men were found in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, with further evidence discovered in their motel room.
