Toyota Kentucky is moving ahead with plans to build a new, state-of-the-art advanced paint facility at its Georgetown plant. Company officials with the Japanese auto giant say the new plan will incorporate cutting-edge paint technologies to elevate the quality of vehicle finishes. The same sources say the technology also enhances efficiency and sustainability while improving the quality of automotive finishes. The new technologies reportedly are part of a 922-million-dollar investment in operations at the plant, which currently employs about ten-thousand workers.
