On Tuesday, November 26th, investigators with the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the home of Bobby Darrell Wright in the 5400 Block of KY 1514 in
Panther as part of a narcotics investigation. Wright became a suspect based off information received by the community, and during the last 4 months, investigators have conducted controlled buys
of approximately 1-1/2 lbs. of methamphetamine from Wright. Wright was not home during the execution of the search warrant, however, detectives located evidence of an ongoing drug trafficking operation including methamphetamine, scales, pipes with residue, a loaded handgun, and US currency. Wright has prior felony convictions and is prohibited from possessing firearms. Wright was located on November 27th in possession of methamphetamine, two additional handguns and a rifle. He was arrested and taken to the Daviess County Detention Center.
