(Nashville, TN)- Seven days a week, you can find Broadway in Nashville bustling with neon lights, country music and thousands of country music fans strolling the famous Music City street.
Nestled among the bars and clubs’ neon lights, you’ll find Hank Williams Jr Boogie Bar located between the former Ernest Tubb Record Shop and Alan Jackson’s AJ’s Bar.
Hank’s Boogie Bar may not be the oldest bar on the music city strip, only opening in November of 2023 but nonetheless, it is a marquee establishment in Music City.
The Boogie Bar offers four floors of entertainment including a roof top bar that offers breathtaking views of Music City, and the perfect setting for a laid back trip to Broadway away from the hustle and bustle of the sidewalks of Broadway. The bar also offers two stages for live music, and a bar on each floor for those who may want to enjoy one of the bar’s famous selection of drinks including Eleven Roses Lemonade, Country Boy Mule, Family Tradition Punch or a Bocephus Bomb.
Hank’s Boogie Bar also offers a full kitchen menu including a double cheeseburger, chicken nachos, flat bread pizza and much more for those looking to have an appetizer or a full meal at Hank’s.
Hank’s Boogie Bar celebrated it’s one-year anniversary on November 1st and 2nd by welcoming The Bama Band to the first-floor stage to perform on Friday and Saturday night.
Hank Williams Jr fans from across the country made their way to see the legendary band members who performed and toured with Hank Williams Jr for over 30 years, and still continue to tour on a part-time basis, after being together for fourty-two years.
Members in attendance included : Wayne “Animal Turner, “Cowboy” Eddie Long, Ray Barrickman and Billy Earheart.
The set list included songs from theirs and Hank’s catalog including Born to Boogie, Outlaw Women, Old Habits, Hog Wild, Weatherman, Kawliga, All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight and many more in the band’s nearly two hour set, which was broken in half to include a meet-and-greet and autograph signing for those in attendance.
We talk to fans who tell us we were the soundtrack for their life. Just one song can really resonate with what a person is going through. That’s powerful, man.” said Turner.
“People came from all over the country to watch us play here this weekend. That means alot,” said Billy Earheart.
During the break between sets, fans interacted with band members on a one-on-one basis for autographs, pictures and to talk about days gone by involving the musical legends and Williams.
