Kentucky Lottery officials say the games have generated more than 1.5-billion-dollars in prize money for players over the past fiscal year. The fiscal year ended June 30th. The lottery also generated more than two-billion-dollars in sales during Fiscal Year 2024. That’s a 14-percent increase over the prior year. Lottery officials transferred 404-million-dollars to the state to fund student grants and scholarships.
