A Daviess County man was arrested after a chase on several charges. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating several thefts and burglaries that have occurred in the Yelvington area during the summer of 2024. Scottie Lee Brooks has been identified as the suspect and on Wednesday, deputies went to a residence in the 1000 block of Yelvington- Grandview Road to arrest him on several warrants. While deputies approached the home, Brooks fled into a wooded area behind a residence. Police could not locate Brooks until Friday morning, when he was seen pulling out of a driveway on KY 405. After a chase, Brooks was eventually located in the 1000 block of Yelvington-Grandview Road. He was questioned and lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.
