
Jeff Wethington has been named the next principal of Daviess County High School. The announcement was made at 3pm Monday prior to a reception to welcome Wethington in his new role. He will begin his new role on July 1. Wethington has been with Daviess County Public Schools since 1997. He started his educational career at Apollo High School as a Mathematics teacher. Beginning in 2012, he served in the position of Assistant Principal at College View Middle School for 9 years. In this role, his responsibilities included evaluations of certified and classified staff members, managing student conduct and attendance, new teacher orientation, and overseeing special education programs. Wethington served one year as the interim principal at College View Middle School during 2021-2022, and currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Daviess County High School.
