The IRS is offering some relief to victims of severe storms on April 2nd. Residents and businesses in eleven counties have been given an extension until November 1st to file tax returns and make payments. Tax returns for 2023 with payments due on April 15th are also included in the extension as well as business income and payroll taxes. The counties included are: Boyd, Carter, Fayette, Greenup, Henry, Jefferson, Jessamine, Mason, Oldham, Union and Whitley. More information can be found on the IRS website.
