A new USDA Summer EBT program is available for qualified families in Kentucky. The program known as SUN Bucks will automatically provide each family 120-dollars for students six-to-18 who receive SNAP, KTAP or Kinship Care. Families can expect to receive the funds around June 17th. Applications will open in late June for anyone who may benefit from the program. The deadline for applications is August 15th. The program is meant to help fill the gap for students who usually receive free or reduced lunches at school.
