A three-year-old thoroughbred colt named Mystik Dan is the winner of Kentucky Derby 150. Twenty horses competed in this year’s race, and Mystik Dan claimed victory in a nail-biter that led to a photo-finish. Trainer Terry McPeek credited rider Brian Hernandez Jr. as being one of the most underestimated jockeys in the field. The win comes with a more than three-million-dollar prize, with second place finisher Sierra Leone scoring a million bucks. Forever Young came in third.
