A Henderson man was arrested early Friday after police say he forced his way into a home and refused to surrender. According to media partner 14News, around 10pm Thursday, officers were called to the 1600 block of South Main Street after witnesses heard a woman being hit and screaming “stop”. Officers arrived and saw a man, later identified as 39-year-old Raymond Petrie, walk into the home. Henderson Police say they learned he forced his way into the home. Hostage negotiators tried to get Petrie to come out of the home but he refused. Petrie was arrested after a warrant was obtained. He faces charges of Burglary 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.
