(Frankfort, KY) — The Commonwealth is under a State of Emergency as clean-up continues from strong storms. Governor Beshear announced Tuesday that substantial damage was reported throughout the state and residents need to remain weather alert until all storms move through.
The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado in Nelson County and an EF-1 tornado in Anderson County on Tuesday.
The Governor reminds residents to check road conditions before traveling.
