OWENSBORO, KY (March 26, 2024)- Windy Hollow Speedway and Windy Hollow Dragway will host their annual season-opening car show on Saturday, March 30th at Applebees’ Bar & Grill in Owensboro. The show will run from 11am until 3pm, with awards being announced at 2pm. The event will include dirt racing cars, drag racing cars, asphalt racing cars, and show-quality vehicles and bikes. Applebees’ will host both indoor and outdoor seating along with food and drink specials during the event.
On Saturday evening, Windy Hollow Speedway will host an open practice for dirt racing cars from 4pm until 7pm. Pit access ONLY will be available and will be $20 for adults.
“We’ve made a lot of renovations and upgrades over the off-season and are excited about getting cars on the track,” said track promoter, Trevor Hutchins.
Windy Hollow Speedway’s 2024 racing season will kick off on Sunday, April 7th.
Windy Hollow Dragway will host the “Battle of the Bluegrass” No-Prep event on April 12th and 13th.
