The Harley Owners Group chapter #5230 out of Kirkwood, Missouri (within the St Louis area) will be rolling into Owensboro around 5:30pm on June 22, 2024. Over 100 riders will cover 337 miles, starting in St. Louis and make multiple stops in cities on their way to Owensboro.
The route is focused on backroads and more scenic views.
HOG members, comprised of individuals from diverse professional backgrounds including lawyers, EMTs, retired police officers, union workers, and business owners are embarking on this journey.
JoAnn Fanning, member, HOG #5230 said, “This is where the next great adventure begins.”
Fanning added, “It’s about finding a wonderful location where we can make great memories with our group of members that are also our friends, brothers, and sisters from all different backgrounds and enjoy a similar lifestyle and hobby. It gives us an opportunity to get a little closer to one another as well as have fun. “
Katelyn Weaver, Destination Sales and Service, Visit Owensboro said, “The event planners loved Owensboro and our riverfront.”
Weaver added, “They were looking for a destination with a unique experience and are looking forward to enjoying the evening along our riverfront.”

The HOG group will undoubtedly create fantastic memories on Saturday evening downtown with live music at our Downtown Summer Jam in McConnell Plaza along with an assortment of food trucks.”
