(Louisville, KY) — A sign that Kentucky Derby 150 is quickly approaching is the changing of the Churchill Downs sign.
The updated sign over the grandstand now shows a countdown to Derby 150.
The sign was also changed to adjust the dates of the Derby from 1875 to 2024.
The 200-million-dollar upgraded Paddock project is getting ready to open. Guests will now walk into a horseshoe-shaped area out of the paddock instead of the old brick path.
The new Club SI and Paddock Club upgrades are expected to be completed when the new paddock opens to the public at the end of April.
