In an unfolding scandal, Warrick County Commissioners Terry Phillippe, Dan Saylor, and Robert Johnson now face felony charges, related to alleged corruption involving the county’s Animal Control and Health Department.
Indiana State Police accuse the trio of attempting to cover up crimes committed by county employees, including obstructing justice by withholding vital documents.
Yet, the charges extend beyond this.
They allege that Commissioner Phillippe committed perjury, while all three stand accused of official misconduct and obstruction of justice.
The disgraced officials were arrested and processed Thursday.
