Do you hear that? The mountains are calling. After spending eight years as primary sponsor for Kevin Harvick at Stewart-Haas Racing, Anheuser Busch will take their familiar blue and white mountains to Trackhouse Racing as the newest sponsor for Ross Chastain.
Chastain and Trackhouse have the perfect venue to debut their new partnership, this weekend’s Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum.
“I can’t wait to represent the Busch Light brand on the track in 2024 and race for the mountains with the fresh, exhilarating look of the ‘Iconic’ paint scheme. This new paint scheme isn’t just a change in appearance – it represents Busch Light’s ongoing commitment to the sport, and I’m looking forward to seeing fans be captivated by it throughout the season,” said Chastain.
In his two previous appearances at “The Clash at the Coliseum,” Chastain has had a mix of results.
“My two experiences with the Clash are not making the race in 2022 and being pretty competitive in 2023. If we take another step like we did from 2022 to 2023, we will have a shot to win this year. The event is a vibe and I want to be part of the show. It’s obviously a special weekend for Busch Light and it’s my first time driving the scheme so I hope we cap the weekend off with a win.”
Chastain and the other stars of the NASCAR Cup Series will take to the track on Saturday and practice and qualifying heat races with the main event of the Busch Light Clash being held on Sunday. Tune into coverage on Owensboro’s Home for NASCAR, WVJS!
