Just last week, Marco Andretti announced a twenty race tour between the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series that kicks off in Daytona on February 17th.
Add one more event to the schedule, and definitely the biggest one of the season.
Andretti Global announced that Marco Andretti will return for another attempt in the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” as he competes in the 108th Annual Indianapolis 500.
He will pilot the No. 98 MAPEI/Curb Honda in his 19th appearance in the event.
The 36-year-old has scored four podiums, eighth top 10s and one pole at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval, including being the 2006 Rookie of the Year after a runner-up result.
“It’s exciting for us to bring MAPEI into the Andretti family and provide them with their first experience in racing and the NTT IndyCar Series,” said Andretti Global CEO and Chairman Michael Andretti
The 108th Indianapolis 500 will be broadcast on 1027 The Game BTYB Battery Headquarters.
