Billy McAnally Racing (BMR) announced that they have signed Eric Johnson Sr to drive the team’s No. 19 Chevrolet entry for the 2024 season.
After fielding a single-car entry for the 2023 season, BMR is returning to a two-car team for this year’s ARCA Menards West series. Johnson will join Jack Wood as a teammate.
Johnson Jr. showcases his talents during the 2023 ARCA Menards Series West campaign finishing top-10 twice in his four attempts for the BMR team.
To be part of such a prestigious team is truly a dream come true for me,” Johnson Jr. said. “Last year was an unforgettable experience filed with new challenges, and now I have a team I feel confident in. I still have so much to learn, but getting my feet wet in the series in 2023 was a great step in the right direction. I’m excited to work alongside Jack (Wood) and learn as much as I can from him and the BMR team.”
Johnson Jr. will kick-off his AMSW rookie season at Phoenix Raceway on March 8th.
