Daviess County Clerks Office CLOSED January 1st through January 11 for new Information Database Transition

From the Daviess County Fiscal Court:

Friday, December 29 is the final day to complete an auto transaction in the Daviess County Clerk’s Office.

As previously announced, all motor vehicle services will be paused for the transition to a new information database. 

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is replacing a 40-year-old legacy system with KAVIS (Kentucky Automated Vehicle Information System). 

The Auto Department will be closed until January 11, 2024 to allow for the transfer of records and staff training. 

During this time, the following services will be unavailable: vehicle and boat registration renewals, vehicle/boat titling and transfers, disabled parking permit issuance and license plate issuance.
