Donate your Evergreen Christmas Tree to the fishes!

Kentucky Fish & Wildlife remind you to not throw away your real Christmas trees after the holiday!

“Christmas for the Fishes” starts Tuesday, December 26th through January 15, 2024.

The “Christmas for the Fishes” recycling program uses the trees in lakes and reservoirs to create environments for the fish to feed, shelter and spawn.

The real trees need to be free of lights, garlands and decorations.
